Memorable People - Friends and Acquaintances of Charles B. Moore

When we first arrived at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, God led us to join the church that Dr. Guy pastored (Retta Baptist Church in the Rendon, Texas community).

The influence that this Pastor and Professor of Missions had on our lives was extraordinary. It would require numerous pages to describe how our lives and view of Gods word changed because of Dr. Cal Guy.

Our gratefulness for this man's life is evidenced by the fact that we named our second son, Cal Moore.

Dr. Cal Guy, Dr. L. Nelson Bell, and Rev. Ron Dunn are the three men who have most influenced my Christian life. Each of these three men have already gone on to be with our LORD.

After I have spent my first ten thousand years at the feet of my Savior, I will look for these three men so I can thank them for the influence they had on my life.

Then together we will continue to praise our Lord for eternity.
